What becomes possible when we move, imagine and create together?

EIRA is a method of artistic exploration and creation that brings together movement, imagination, play and human connection.

01 — The method

A structure that holds.
A freedom that transforms.

EIRA offers guidance, continuity and a creative framework that allows each person to explore, discover and interpret in their own way. No previous experience in dance, theatre or performance is required.

  1. 01

    Guided improvisation

There is direction, but no set path. Each body finds its own way to respond.

  2. 02

    Attention to surroundings

Inhabiting the present and contemplating what surrounds us: space, nature, objects, light, silence and music. As we attune our attention, what seemed merely part of the landscape begins to reveal itself, to enter into dialogue with our body and to become material for creation.

  3. 03

    Collective creation

Creating with others, letting different gestures, ideas and imaginations shape something shared.

  4. 04

    Exploration

The body is not a form to master, but a territory to discover. Its points of support, its limits and its possibilities.

  5. 05

    Imagination

The invisible, too, can take shape. An image born in the imagination can become movement, space and creation.

  6. 06

    Experimentation

A gesture can have a hundred lives. Changing it, repeating it, combining it and discovering that even a mistake can open up another possibility.

  7. 07

    Encounter

Meeting the unexpected: an idea, a sensation, another person, or something in ourselves we did not yet know.

  8. 08

    Transformation

The beginning is in dialogue with the end. Nothing ends where it begins. A gesture changes shape, an idea unfolds in different directions. Transformation may happen outside us, in what we create, or within us, in the way we feel, perceive and inhabit the world.

02 — The experience

1 h 40 min

A time to inhabit the body, awaken the imagination, explore the unexpected and create together with other people.

You can adapt the physical intensity, pause whenever you need and respect your own boundaries. No artistic training is necessary.

  1. 10min

    Arrival, circle and intention

We gather, arrive in the room and set an intention for the session.

  2. 20min

    Physical activation

Strong but adaptable: strength, mobility, coordination, resistance and somatic exploration.

  3. 40min

    Guided artistic investigation

Poetic questions explored through movement, imagination, improvisation and experimentation.

  4. 5min

    Water break

    A pause.

  5. 15min

    Collective composition

Individual discoveries are woven into a shared creation.

  6. 10min

    Integration and closing

We return to the circle and let the experience settle.

03 — The creator

Viviana Gaviria Baena

Multidisciplinary artist, photographer, creative director and maker of performative processes

Viviana Gaviria Baena is a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, creative director and maker of performative processes. For more than 15 years she has developed an artistic practice that moves through image, body, action, spatial sensitivity and collective creation. Over these years she has conceived and facilitated laboratories, workshops and creative experiences in which movement, observation, imagination and encounter become tools for research and creation.

EIRA grows out of that path: out of the study, practice and listening gathered through her work with photography, performance and living creative processes. Conceived in Amsterdam, EIRA is an evolving method that opens a space to explore new ways of inhabiting the body, awakening perception, expanding the imagination and creating together with others.

04 — Contact & collaborations

EIRA sees creativity as a human capacitythat can be cultivated through experience.
